Chocolate Chia Seed Pudding

Chocolate Chia Seed Pudding

The best part of this healthy dessert/ snack is that it’s high protein & only has 4 simple ingredients!!

I used a vegan chocolate protein (power pro) from 1st phorm, which is the only dairy free one that I like!

It isn’t too sweet & gives it a good rich, chocolate flavor paired with the black cocoa!

The HIIT nutrition black cocoa is a staple in my recipes, I swear I have it 2+ times a day! Black cocoa has a lower fat content than other cocoa powders, resulting in a very dark color with an intense/ Oreo taste.

Benefits of chocolate chia seed pudding:

Okay, so first off you’re getting in a good amount of protein with this recipe. Secondly, it’s dairy free. It’s also no-bake which is nice. And Thirdly, chia seeds! Chia seeds are high in omega-3s and packed with fiber, helps with digestion, bloating & regularity ;)

Ingredients~

15 grams chocolate protein powder (I used vegan but you can use whatever you have on hand)

22 grams chia seeds

4 oz unsweetened SILK cashew milk (my fav or any other milk)

5 grams black cocoa for more of a “fudge/ Oreo” flavor

Instructions~

In a container, mason jar or shaker bottle, weigh out your protein powder, set back to zero and add dairy free milk.

SHAKKEE!!

Next, in a small bowl, weigh out chia seeds.

Add thee protein shake to it and stir well.

Refrigerate overnight or 3 hours so the chia seeds have time to expand!
