Cream of rice + oats!
Go to oats! Cream of rice mixed with regular oats, makes the most perfect texture!
With some added protein, using egg whites and protein powder… both making it fluffy and high volume!
Ingredients:
-1 Better Oats Cinnamon Roll packet (or 28g any oats) can use more but will change macros
-20 grams of Cream of Rice
-60 grams egg whites
-10 grams protein powder
-One capful of skinny syrup (PB cup flavor, to sweeten or could use 1/2 TB sf syrup) or 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
-One stevia packet & a dash of salt
-25 ml unsweetened cashew milk (or milk of choice)
-SF syrup is optional but I love the maple walnut from Walden Farms (I buy off amazon)
-Nut butter to top, depending on how many fats I want to add to this meal it ranges between 22-28g
Directions:
-Take a small sauce pan, on medium heat…pour in better oat packet, stevia and skinny syrup… add enough water to cover oats, let boil.
-Next, add in cream of rice & stir.
-Let sit for 2-3 min to thicken.
-Add in egg whites and turn heat down o low. Constantly whisking the egg whites so they don’t clump.
-Once cooked (3-5 min), turn off heat and refrigerate for 10-20 min, thickens the oat mixture!
-Lastly, stir in protein powder and if too dry, add in a splash of almond milk (or milk of choice) and top with sf syrup
Now for the BEST PART!!! Topping with American Dream, cashew or PB are my go to’s on oats!
