Asian Chicken Lettuce Wraps

Asian Chicken Lettuce Wraps

I’ve got a new super easy and healthy weeknight meal that you and your family can enjoy!

Coconut Aminos Teriyaki sauce, extra lean ground chicken & chopped green onions are the stars of the show!!!

RECIPE:

1-2 lbs of extra lean ground chicken (mine fav is from Whole Foods)

Coconut Secrets Teriyaki sauce (from Whole Foods)

Green onions 1-2 bushes

Butter/ iceberg lettuce

Everything but the bagel seasoning, pink salt, powder or fresh ginger, garlic

If you have a lime, squeeze 1 fresh lime for better flavor

Any other veggie you want to include; I love to add bean sprouts, cole slaw, shredded carrots, mushrooms with the chicken to get in some more veggies and it adds a nice crunch!

ASSEMBLING:

Saute the ground chicken in a skillet with coconut or avocado spray until browned.

Chop up the green onions & throw in half the bottle of the sauce, and you might need to add more if you do a side of sautéed veggies.

If adding any other veggie, saute it in another skillet with coconut oil spray and either BRAGG’s liquid aminos or soy sauce until browned.

That is it! You will combine the veggies if adding to the cooked chicken in the sauce, then add in green onions for garnish!

My entire fam loves this meal for lunches & dinners! It's super high in protein and lower carb, if you want it to be more of a balanced meal, throw some cooked rice at the bottom of the lettuce wrap and maybe some crushed peanuts or cashews on top to add some fat .

Macros will vary depending on which chicken you use, I suggest extra lean to lower the fat amount!

But it's super high protein and like no carbs with just the ground chicken and lettuce!
