Chocolate Baked Oats
Single serving of basically a chocolate brownie for breakfast or even a great snack / dessert option ;)
It's packed with protein, and has a dense brownie-like texture. It's also checks the gluten-free, egg-free box for those that need that! Minimal ingredients and so delicious!
Ingredients:
-40 grams oats (I used One Degree Sprouted, easier to digest)
-20 grams protein powder
-50 grams mashed banana
-5 grams HIIT Nutrition Jet Black Cocoa (makes it super chocolatey!)
-100 ml unsweetened cashew milk (or milk of choice)
-One capful of skinny syrup (PB cup flavor, to sweeten or could use 1/2 TB sf syrup) or 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
-1/2 tsp baking powder
-One stevia packet & a dash of salt
Directions:
-Preheat oven to 350F degrees.
-In a small bowl, mash banana.
-Next, add in the rest of the ingredients: oats, milk, protein, baking powder, sweeteners, and sea salt. Mix until well combined.
-Grease your ramekin. Bake for 25-30 minutes until the inside is set but still soft. Enjoy warm and top with whatever you like! I did American Dream’s Thicka Than A Snicka PB that tastes like a melted snickers jar…. amazing!
I added 20 grams on top to boost fats for this meal!
Also, store in the fridge for 4-5 days and enjoy cold (which I love) or reheat in the morning. You could 2,3,4x this recipe to make a big batch for the week!
