Peppermint Oreo Truffles

A festive holiday treat that is filled with peppermint protein & Oreos!!! 

I love anything that is chocolate! These are truly decadent but also really healthy! The flavor is incredible and reminds me of Christmas in each bite!


YOU NEED:

~ 170 grams Oreo thins (I used 16 cookies)

~ 50 grams Peppermint Bark Protein (I used the limited edition 1st Phorm level-1) PEPPERMINT BARK! Or any protein you wish to use!

~ 4 oz fat free cream cheese

~ 28 grams Lily’s White Chocolate Chips


DIRECTIONS:

1.  Place a sheet of wax paper over a cookie sheet, set aside.   

2.  Place Oreos in a food processors and pulse until fine crumbs. Add protein powder and pulse a few times until blended.   

3.  In a kitchen aid or bowl mix together cream cheese and peppermint extract. Add Oreo mixture to cream cheese and mix until well combined.   

4.  Roll into balls. Each ball is about 18g. Freeze for 30 minutes.   

5.  In a microwave save bowl melt together white chocolate chips and coconut oil. Roll each ball in chocolate mixture and sprinkle with crushed peppermint.   

 Makes 12 balls ~ each being 75 calories (2.6 fat, 8 carbs, 4.7 protein)


Freeze them & they taste like fudge or store them in an air tight container for up to 7 days!
