Protein Donuts
PUMPKIN OR WHATEVER FLAVOR PROTEIN YOU HAD ON HAND!
I don’t know about you but I LOVE all things pumpkin spice flavored…
Yes I know I am basic but like pumpkin is so good!!
Pumpkin protein donuts that I randomly threw together..
well they turned out PERF!!
I used the same base recipe for the pumpkin protein cookies : recipe on website
But I added Lions Pack coffee cake protein pancake mix to fluff them into donuts!
Ingredients~
90 grams pumpkin puree
50 grams egg whites
4 grams sf butterscotch pudding mix (any flavor works)
26 grams Level-1 pumpkin spice latte protein (this is just unbelievable + perf for baking)
Sprinkle of pumpkin pie spice seasoning
Droplets of liquid vanilla stevia
2 tsp baking powder
(above is protein cookie recipe) then I added to make donuts
18 grams of Lions pack pancake mix
Splash of water to think out batter (add slowly bc you don’t want too much)
~The mixture should be thick like pancake batter but not too runny!
~ Pour into 2 sprayed donut pans (I used coconut oil spray)
~ Bake @ 350 for 12-15 (varies if you make 4 smaller or 2 bigger donuts)
Let cool & sprinkle with cinnamon/stevia seasoning!
I have tried 2 variations- one with blueberry muffin protein & the other is with pumpkin spice flavored protein
~ I stored these in a plastic container on the counter which kept them from getting too moist in the fridge!
ENJOY and don’t forget to tag me if you try!!!
