Protein Ice Cream (Proyo)!

My go to nightly macro cap!!! 🍦🍧🍫🍪

Curbs my sweet tooth & taste like a McFlurry! 

But wait!!! It’s only 173 calories for the protein icecream base (13 carbs, 3 fat, 20 protein)

The recipe:

2 (unsweetened cashew milk) ice cubes in my silicone mold - found at TJ MAX

230 grams of ice - weighing out is very important 

2 stevia packets

10 grams of SF pudding cheesecake mix or any flavor you prefer 

6 grams of psyllium husk & arrowroot starch (thickeners) instead of xanthum gum (I don’t digest that well)

32grams of protein powder (I prefer 1st phorm)

(Only protein that doesn’t upset my stomach)

Wet ingredients include: 

20-25 ml of skinny syrup 

60-70 ml of unsweetened cashew milk or almond milk for a total of 90-100 ml of liquid

Freeze serving bowl 1 hr prior to keep chilled when eating! Or I just wash & place PROYO bowl back in the freezer for the night. This is a MUST so when your pour it into the bowl it doesn’t melt so fast...

1️⃣ I blend the ice & the cashew milk ice cubes! To a snow like consistency about 30-45 seconds (food processor works best)!

2️⃣ Add in cashew milk blend..add in all other dry ingredients for 2-3 minutes to really thicken up! 

3️⃣If you can wait long enough....freeze blended ice-cream in already frozen bowl for another

20 -30 minutes than add toppings! SO THICK!!!!
