Air Fried Shrimp

This perfect 8 min Air Fryer Shrimp is amazingly tender and high protein! 

Get ready because this is SO easy!

Serve it over a bed of rice, in pasta / zoodles or over spaghetti squash. Even on a salad, or in a veggie stir fry!

Air Frying is taking the cooking world by storm, and there’s good reason too. It’s quick. Easy clean up, and creates amazing dishes that more healthy for you. If you haven’t tried an air fryer, it’s time to get on the bandwagon! 

And this shrimp recipe is a golden ticket winner when it comes to flavor and ease.

Marinating the shrimp infuses the flavor into the shrimp. Air frying allows the flavor to remain on the shrimp without burning it too, giving it a nice outer coating. The inside is tender and perfectly seasoned. You don’t need to add anything else. It’s absolutely divine.


DETAILS:

~ Your fav marinade (I love G hugh’s)

~ Wild Caught Frozen Shrimp (can use fresh, but I prefer just having TJ frozen on hand)

~ Seasonings of choice

~ Air fryer (I have an Elite Gourmet from Macy’s)


Making Perfect Shrimp:

~ You can defrost any piece of protein quickly by emerging it in cold water with ice cubes

~ Once its defrosted, marinate it for a few hours or even just 10-15 min will do the trick

~ Throw in any seasonings you wish, I love the Chili Lime from Trader Joes

~ Use tinfoil to create a “tray” to place in the basket in your air fryer so it is easier to clean & plus it keeps the shrimp all coated in the marinade

~ Air fry @ 400 degrees for 6-8 min or until the shrimp “shrivels up”


Serve with a squeeze of fresh lemon / lime juice!
