Air Frying Veggies
I have a Phillips from Macy’s and LOVE it
I buckled down and bought myself an air fryer: GAME CHANGER!
I, who loves to cook, even uses this every. single. day.
It cooks everything in under 20 minutes with a perfect, crisp, out edge and roasted to perfection!
My favs are zucchini, brussels, mini peppers, mini green beans, onions, butternut squash, sweet potatoes.. really anything!
I typically “fry” all veggies @400 for 16-18 minutes. Spray with avocado or coconut oil spray before turning on and then I wait to season after!
Faster cooking, great taste, less time spent roasting in the oven… I mean why wouldn’t you want one?!
-SIMPLE, I spray with coconut / avocado oil spray & fry either 375-400 degrees for 12 min to start..
About half way I will take the basket out and shake so it will all cook evenly. Then I wait to season until AFTER so it doesn’t get all in the basket and make a mess. Plus, I don’t wash mine every time I use it if I am just cooking veggies.
Now, for mini peppers which I LOVE to do, it’s easy… I put them in whole, with the stem! These cook fast, 8-12 minutes, then once cooled, I will peel out the stem and they are just perfect.
No need to even preheat mine!
