Teryiaki Chicken Lettuce Wraps

Filled with chicken, mushrooms, green onions, everything bagel seasoning, these lettuce wraps are both healthy and yummy! The G Hugh’s teriyaki sauce gives them delicious Asian flair!!⁣

RECIPE:⁣

⁣1 lbs of extra lean ground chicken (99% lean) or can use turkey⁣

6-8 TB G Hugh’s Teryiaki Marinade⁣

Green onions 1-2 bushes ⁣

3 containers of diced mushrooms⁣

1 shallot⁣

Chicken Broth⁣

Butter/bib lettuce for the “shell”⁣

Everything but the bagel seasoning, pink salt, powder or fresh ginger, garlic⁣

If you have a lime, squeeze 1 fresh lime for better flavor⁣

Any other veggie you want to include; I love to add bean sprouts, cole slaw, shredded carrots, mushrooms with the chicken to get in some more veggies and it adds a nice crunch!⁣

ASSEMBLEING:⁣

Saute the ground chicken in a skillet with coconut or olive oil spray until browned.⁣

In a separate skillet, you are going to brown the mushrooms first on high heat in olive oil spray, and the diced shallot…. once they are getting crispy, lower heat and add some chicken broth. That adds flavor and will help moisten them, cover for 5-8 minutes.⁣

Once mushrooms are soften to your liking, add the browned chicken to them, Teryiaki sauce, ginger, everything bagel seasoning & pink salt to taste. If you have a lime, squeeze that as well.⁣

⁣I weighed the final batch COOKED (796 grams). Took that final weight & divided by 5 (for 5 servings) to be at: 159 grams for each time I go to eat it, I’ll weigh out that amount!⁣

LOVE this meal for lunches & or dinners! Its super high in protein and lower carb, if you want it to be more of a balanced meal, throw some cooked rice at the bottom of the lettuce wrap and maybe some crushed peanuts or cashews on top to add some fat 😜
